Applying the SPX APV Delta DA3
In the field of so-called Mix-proof valves, which ensure a strict separation of two hostile products, SPX APV has a very complete program; SPX APV mixproof valve type Delta DA3. This is a fully balanced (pressure blow-solid) and switching loss-arm (<0.001 ltr / shifting) valve with integrated auxiliary cylinders for the individual lights of the upper or lower valve plate during the CIP process in order to optimally clean the sealing surface of the valve disk. Moreover it has an internal surface roughness Ra = <0,8μm.
The shut-off valve is provided with a standard coil connection for cleaning the leak detection port. Available in various housing configurations. The valve can be supplied with an APV Control Unit which has connections for the PLC system including: Direct Wired, ASI-Bus, Profibus or DeviceNet. The actuator is completely maintenance free and has a warranty of five years. Moreover, the valve is made for a "Normally Closed" application.
