Inoxpa Systems
Product recovery systems
INOXPA provides product recovery solutions tailored to the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Inoxpa has two types of systems, SILPIG and the STERIPIG system.
SILPIG
The SILPIG system consists of a launcher, a receiver, a PIG (or sphere), two position detectors (one for the launcher and one for the receiver), four automatic butterfly valves, and two KH multi-way valves. The process begins with the sphere positioned in the launcher. It is then propelled through the pipeline—typically using compressed air—to recover any remaining product. Once the product recovery is complete, the PIG arrives at the receiver, allowing the system to be cleaned. The PIG itself can also be cleaned during the standard CIP cycle. After CIP, the sphere returns to the launcher, ensuring the system is ready for the next production run.
STERIPIG System
The STERIPIG system ensures fully hygienic product recovery, as no component enters or exits the installation. The sphere, controlled by an external magnet, remains free of dead leg zones during CIP when the flow rate is sufficient. The system includes a launcher, receiver, PIG (sphere), two position detectors, four automatic butterfly valves, and two KH three-way valves. The process begins by placing the sphere in the launcher, then propelling it with compressed air to recover residual product. After recovery, the PIG moves to the receiver, allowing the entire system to be cleaned via CIP. The sphere itself is cleaned during this process and returned to the launcher, ready for the next production cycle.
